Effective date: 1 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data Span Technologies collects through spantechnologies.in, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
“We” and “us” mean Span Technologies, Satna, Madhya Pradesh. “You” means anyone who uses this website or contacts us through it.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, phone number, email address, company name and message.
- TallyCapital enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address and message, so we can help you check eligibility for a TallyCapital business loan.
- Phone calls and WhatsApp: if you call us or message us on WhatsApp, we see your phone number, your WhatsApp name and whatever you choose to tell us.
- Website usage data: through Google Analytics, we see things like the pages you visit, how long you stay, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city or region). This data does not tell us your name.
We do not ask for sensitive data such as bank details, passwords or identity documents through this website. Please do not send them through the forms.
Why we use it
We use your data to:
- reply to your enquiry and give you a quote or the information you asked for
- arrange product sales, installation, Tally support or software work you ask about
- help with your TallyCapital enquiry (see below)
- understand which pages are useful so we can improve the website
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
Your consent
When you submit a form, call us or message us, you agree to us using your data for the purposes above. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing or calling us (details below). We may not be able to complete your enquiry without your contact details.
TallyCapital enquiries
TallyCapital loans are provided by Tally Solutions’ lending partners, not by Span Technologies. When you fill in the TallyCapital form, your details come to us. With your agreement, we may share the details needed for your application with Tally Solutions and its lending partners, who handle them under their own privacy policies. The loan decision is theirs, not ours.
Who else handles your data
We use a few trusted services to run the website and talk to you:
- Hostinger hosts the website and stores form submissions on its servers.
- Google provides Google Analytics, Google Maps and YouTube.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries any WhatsApp messages you send us.
- Tally Solutions and its lending partners, only for TallyCapital enquiries, as described above.
These providers may process data outside India. Each has its own privacy policy. We may also share data if the law requires it, for example on a valid request from a government authority.
Cookies and embedded content
- Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and see how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site still works without them.
- Google Maps and YouTube are not loaded until you click on them. Once you click, Google may set its own cookies and collect data under Google’s privacy policy.
- The website itself may use a few essential cookies to make forms and pages work.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries (forms, call and WhatsApp notes): up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer.
- Customer records (invoices, warranty and support records): as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Google Analytics data: for the period set in our Google Analytics settings.
After that, we delete the data or make it anonymous.
How we protect it
The website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and only staff who need form submissions and customer records can access them. If a data breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you can ask us to:
- access: tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- correct: fix data that is wrong or incomplete
- erase: delete your data when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it
- withdraw consent: stop using your data for a purpose you agreed to
- nominate: name someone to act on your behalf if you die or are unable to act
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will reply within the time the law requires.
Children’s data
This website and our services are meant for adults and businesses. They are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
